So, for all of the firewire stalwarts out there (including me), is it time for us to hang it up and concede that usb works as well with latency and everything else as firewire? All of the interface companies seem to think so. Apogee, focusrite, a LOT of high end interfaces are coming out usb only.

Both good and reliable, just make sure you are getting a 7200 rpm drive (i don't think glyph offers lower), and i would stick to firewire. I think OWC may be a little cheaper, and I've always had good exp with them.
