Re: High Sierra, DP and UAD Pluggins
If DP would recognize the UAD plugs and I could avoid having to authorize DP every time I restart, I could probably start living in High Sierra. As it stands I'm strongly considering doing what it takes to change my HS drive back to Sierra. Is that because you don't want to use DP 9.51? I thought 9...

Re: High Sierra, DP and UAD Pluggins
This is not related to firewire. I'm using Apollo with thunderbolt, and after upgrade to High Sierra, all UAD plugins became failed in DP. I forced (deleted VST info cache in USER/Library/Preferences/com.motu.MotuAudioSystemDP ) to do the reexam again, it went through without problem, still UAD plu...

Re: High Sierra version 10.13
You cannot go backwards on an OS without erasing and reformatting the drive. Thanks, yes, was reviewing the High Sierra thread/sticky on GS as well and realized that High Sierra introduces a new drive format. Given there's no real timetable for UAD, MOTU, whatever to get fully HS compliant I think ...

Re: High Sierra version 10.13
If you have such a back up, such as your Sierra disk, here’s what to try: From your Sierra drive, open Disk Utility, reformat and erase the SSD. You will not see the volume but you should be able to view the raw SSD. If you can’t see this in Disk Utility, I can post how to do it in Terminal. Now yo...

Re: High Sierra version 10.13
Successfully downloaded the Sierra installer and tried running it from my Sierra disk, but it cannot downgrade my SSD from HS to Sierra.
SO close to having my SSD firing on all cylinders, but still no cigar.

Re: High Sierra version 10.13
Well, a few follicles later and I'm now downloading Sierra (thanks HC!!). To catch up, I performed the upgrade to High Sierra 10.13.2. I have repeatedly reinstalled the latest UAD software, but it never shows up in the Security pane to allow me to allow it. As a result my Apollo still works but the ...

Re: DP 9.51 anomalies
I've got an original Apollo Twin. Everything UAD is still loading and working great on my original iMac HHD boot drive under Sierra. When I had my SSD installed, he installed it with High Sierra. That seems to be the difference. From the posts above, it seems to be a known issue. I'm a bit disappoin...

Re: DP 9.51 anomalies
Must chime and say my (albeit limited) experience has been the same. Tried 9.5.1 again yesterday to see if it would make my UAD plugins load. It didn't. Good news is that I really really like 9.02. Just starting to get nervous as it feels like 9.02 came out a long time ago and multiple incarnations ...

Re: Mas, 1 error Audio Unit Support
Same problem here. No UAD plugins loading, just a bunch of MAS 1 error popups to wade through. Spoke with MOTU tech and it's a known issue. They're working on it with UA. Hopefully a fix will be available soon. Same here. I was finally closing in on making my new SSD battle-ready. Everything workin...

Re: New SSD: Did I mess up?
Thanks for clearing that up, HC! I shall proceed.... On the NI front, yes, it was a rather tedious exercise uninstalling everything. Good news is that all now seems to be organized with the reinstall of Native Access and the libraries are installing correctly, so this part is actually kind of fun. A...

Re: New SSD: Did I mess up?
Well, to update, I ended up erasing the SSD and starting over with a clean install and then migrating from my MBP. Some good, some bad, some confusing issues as I try to make sure everything works and/or is authorized. Good news is it looks like iLok and Waves Central works across both drives withou...

Re: New SSD: Did I mess up?
Thanks Mike! LOL just wrote a lengthy post but you beat me to the punch and cleared up a number of questions. As I suspected I'll have to go through the process of deactivating licenses so they can be reactivated. I guess I don't really mind as long as I only have to do it once. But as long as I wil...

Re: New SSD: Did I mess up?
What I'm starting to realize is that if I move over to the new SSD as my main boot drive, I won't be able to access my old internal drive for data and documents, vi's or whatever. A significant loss of space for speed. If so I guess I should just continue to use my current drive as boot, and use the...
