Re: fades mysteriously disappearing
Don't know the cause, but fades disappear all the time around here. When Loading a project into a new one I expect there to missing fades every time. This has been going on since version 7...

Re: Drum Programming, Transposition, etc.
Yes definitely.Do we agree that the Transpose plug should also apply when clicking on notes in the editor (I use the regular MIDI editor, not the drum editor)?

We'll chalk it up to another DP 9 bug that hopefully gets fixed in .01

Re: Tempo slider change with mouse scroll wheel-DP 9
Thanks for the workaround, Phil-O. My screen is almost 4' from the mix position so these small windows are difficult to see. Hovering the mouse pointer and rolling the wheel is very easy to do without having to actually see the tempo numbers IOW.

Re: Continuous controllers tool switches on its own-DP 9
I pass all these things along to MD so hopefully the next release they can get ironed out.
This particular one happens every couple of minutes when editing, so it's not just every now and then.

CC draws take a long time - DP 8 and 9
This started in DP 8.
Re-drawing CC data in Graphic Editor takes up to 10 seconds where in DP 7 they were instantaneous.
Anyone else?

Re: Tempo slider change with mouse scroll wheel-DP 9
No hacks. And I can boot into DP 8 and it still works in increments of 1 there, which is great for fine tuning tempos quickly as opposed to typing in values.cuttime wrote:I can't confirm this. Still by ones here. I'm using BetterTouchTool with an Apple Magic Mouse. Are you using any kind of mouse hacks?

Continuous controllers tool switches on its own-DP 9
While drawing in CC 64 Dp 9 will spontaneously change the tool to draw in Pitch Changes.

Tempo slider change with mouse scroll wheel-DP 9
Up until DP 9 the mouse scroll wheel would change the tempo slider value by 1, now it is by 10. Am I missing a preference setting somewhere, or was this a new change in DP 9 in general?
Thanks, fellows.

I have this exact same bug and have added it to the list going to MD.toodamnhip wrote:Has anyone else noticed this programming weirdness or “bug” if that’s more appropriate? Hard to believe no ones chimed in on this?
Had to revert to DP 8 to edit vocals on the last project.

Re: DP very bogged down until song is Playing
I'm just thinking out loud here, CB, but it might be worth taking a look at the three settings I haven't looked at in years, Work Quanta, Prime Seconds, and Max Work Percent. A few years back I spent a whole day trying to quantify how these setting related to performance. Do they interact? - Don't ...
