Re: Things Missing in DP for a Long Time
I'm going to say it. Track selection needs some work, I agree, but didn’t include it. A long back, there was a post, I think from Magic Dave, that said, if you want track selection to behave like this, do that. I did that and it worked. But I can’t remember what I did and, at the time, could not se...

Re: Things Missing in DP for a Long Time
Yes, just a matter of vertical alignment. A panel with the MIDI editor showing events, and another below it with the notation view, and some scaling so the two are aligned, making it easy to jump from one to the other as you edit.

Things Missing in DP for a Long Time
Or at least things I've wanted to see in DP for a long time but haven't ever happened. Here's my list. 1. Multiple mixer views. At least three mixer windows that can each have it's own track selection. So you could, for example put busses in one window, tracks you're working on in another, and Auxes...

Re: Using VST2 and VST3 in the same project
Never been clear to me why there is a preference for primary plugin format. Whatever you choose, you can have the same plugins in other formats showing in the plugin chooser anyway.

Re: The Future of Digital Performer
I think you have to tell DP which you prefer, but you can go into the preferences for plugins and put either or both in the inventory of plugins that show up. I've never tried to use a combination of VST2 and VST3, but have used AU and VST2 interchangeably. DP appears to use a wrapper for any plugin...

Re: Sonoma 14.4
Actually, M3 looks ok, at least for now. I hope so if only for the sake of all those who bought one. But you have to assume there are a lot of people taking a very close look for holes in the armour. I was thinking it was time to replace my very old MBP, but until I hear more encouraging news, that...

Re: Sonoma 14.4
I read they sunk billions into it too? They did. It’s sad. You have to wonder if they’ve lost their way on innovation. And the old “just works”, great hardware, and “no viruses” messages are fading, and their marketing and industry strategy is under fire. Things must be tense in the Apple boardroom.
