Actually one light year is about 5,880,000,000,000 (5 trillion, 880 billion) miles.

And remember, Fed Ex requires a zip code.

not sure why you don't just use bounce? Well because I'm trying to set up a workflow for ITB mixing, and although this "test project" was completely ITB, future mixes will likely include some outboard gear, like FX, compressors, etc. Plus If I'm making refs, there may be outboard MIDI tha...

Thanks Tim, I thought that might be how it's done. When I do this though, I apparently take a performance hit- I get the "stop playback" message, when I was coasting along nicely before.. it is a pretty big document, though, and it makes sense that using a buss would stress the processors ...

First ITB mix, can't figure out the mix buss

OK I'm actually a little embarrassed to ask such a simple question but I can't find it in the manual. In the decades I've used DP, it has always been with an external mixer. This is my first attempt at mixing a project ITB. I've been able to figure it all out enough to get a mix I'm happy with, but ...

I'll find out next week more information as to when EuCon will be supported with DP if it's not already. The customization is quite extensive and what makes their product line so good. When we have these available, I'll take one home and do a quick video demo of it if there is enough interest here....

Wow I must have missed this before. Yes this is happening to me too, with loading M5 version 1 presets I had made. The X-fade is there when I load it, but like was said before, no combination of saving preset, sample, whatever, will save the X-fades with the preset. All I can do is use the (old) M5 ...

I know what this is, it happened to me a few months ago. Turned out there was a plug (autotune, I think) that was corrupted. Everything loaded fine until it got to the track AT was on and then crash. I tried re-installing AT, blah blah, repair permissions blah blah.. There's only one thing that fina...

Re: Mac Pro: So far, so bad

DP is not running - it starts up but then keeps giving me errors that the audio config changed "while MAS was running" even though I was not changing any configurations. I tried to hook up a Presonus Firestudio to my 3GHz. quad Intel and got the same exact error message whenever I tried t...

New computer! I'm a little nervous though...

I'm about to (attempt to) move to a new computer tonight- From: a Dual 1GHz. G4, 2GB Ram, SCSI LVD drives, running 10.4.7, DP 5.1, with an RME MADI PCI card going to a digital console. To: 3GHz. Quad, 2GB RAM (4 X 512) 250GB internal, (2) 500GB SATA 300's in a striped RAID, and the MADI card (via a ...
