Thanks! Well it started happening with iK Multimedia products tonight. I uninstalled and reinstalled those, as well as the Toontrack products, and that seems to have fixed the issue.

Select the MIDI notes you want to make legato.

Go to Region menu/Change Duration.

Under “Change Duration” menu, select “Move
releases to the closest attack”.

Click on “Apply”.

You are running a really old version of DP (32-bit), on Sierra, using a FireWire UA device. That’s a recipe for things going wrong for sure. Your particular Mac can run at 64-bit, you’re on Sierra so the first thing I’d do is get DP10 and install it. I think your issue is system specific, not an iss...

DP has been able to import m4a audio since
DP7, I think (could be wrong on that). A number
of years, at any rate.

Here’s the story. I got DP 10.1 and installed it without first re-naming 9.52 to “Digital Performer 9”. So of course the 10.1 installer deleted 9.52. Worked with 10.1 about a week, no issues.
