Anyone here using an Ultralite and sending audio from Bidule out through the Ultralite's SPDIF out and back into DP through the Ultralite's SPDIF in?.....instead of using ReWire???
Thanks,
Michael

Re: VE Pro connection
Wow. That sounds way too easy. That's what confused me it seems like a plug-in -- no aux tracks like Bidule, no inter-application stuff?
Can I use VE Pro in 64 Bit with Kontakt and Play, because it's outside DP...and access all 12 cores?
Thanks again.
Michael

VE Pro connection
Hey All, I'm going to ask a question that probably has an obvious answer -- I apologize. I've been away from music for a while and I'm still trying to catch up on technology. I was using DP7 on a late 2006 Mac Pro. I started to use Bidule, and was comfortable with the set-up. I recently upgraded to ...

Re: From theme, to mockup in DP, to Orchestra
Hey Mike, I just checked out the video...and I thought the mock-up sounded great! Like you, I've been using DP forever -- as in since it was just Performer. I was just getting used to Bidule when my old dual core gave up the ghost. I've got a 12 core now, and dare I say it, I bought Logic hoping to ...

No audio from VIs
Hi All, I've been working on a large orchestral track with EWQLSO, LASS, SYMPHOBIA, etc. Things were going ok, but then I started to get a lot of crashes. Transpose a few notes crash. Delete a soundbite crash ..... Tech support at MOTU had me move my DP preferences folder to the desktop, so DP would...

Bidule Latency
Hello All, I've set-up a large template in DP7 with multiple instances of Kontakt and Play, using Bidule and ReWire. I'm having serious latency issues that are making it impossible to use. I've adjusted all of the buffers down to 64, but then the audio gets degraded. At 128 the audio sounds OK, but ...

Re: continuous data
Thanks for your reply Mark.
I'm not sure what you're experiencing, but in my case the answer was embarrassingly simple -- just enable automation on the MIDI/data track.
Cheers,
Michael

continuous data
Hello All,
None of my VI's are responding to continuous data, whether created by the "create continuous data" command, or with my UC-33e.
The data appears on the track, but the instruments (Play, Kontakt, Ivory) don't respond.
Am I missing something simple?
Thank you,
Michael
