I know nowadays it's a really old mixer... but I bought it just due to its sounds, if I need more thin recordings I would use traveler and mackie onyx... I'm happy to here you were happy with it!

ok, it's a very old mixer but here in Italy you can't find it out... a few month ago I had the chance to try it out and I was surprised by it's sound. I found a really good deal, and I've bought one for 60•‚¬ with its meterbridge...
anyone here has one of them?

hi, it seems a really good project and quite difficult too. Here and there you can hear artefacts but this not a real issue cos probably at the end you'll add ambient reverberation to the audio and no one will hear them.

all from motif rack es, except for some orchestra instruments that came from the triton and of course the growl that is pure vocal.

as always for halloween I write down something... this year I recorded all with DP from a Triton and a Motif Rack ES (except for growl)

maybe this can't help you... but. Install latest driver and expecially install on the motif rack es the latest firmware (this fixed some errors with my unit).
Anyway, how do you connect the hardware?

I got a traveler and a mackie onyx (1620 without fw expansion), and talking about the pres, I think that the traveler's are more transparent, if you have to record classical or acustic mix go for it. viceversa if you have to record other kind of bands go for the mackie that sounds to me like it have...

Don't know how it works there... but here in Italy after the 70 years we have to pay a little tax to the State to public something out of the copyright and we should write the name of the author on the work.
