Well, I usually quit my DAW first, then turn off my monitors (speakers), then I quit MOTU audio setup, and power off my 828MK3, then power down my Mac. This way there are no loud pops going through my monitors.

I love this plugin.Just picked it up last month from Audio Deluxe. I run Waves' Kramer Tape in much the same fashion that you all use Magnetic (which i have too), so I'm going to try that. Saw on Steven's episode of Pensado's Place that he's working on a tape emulation plugin. Can't wait to see that...

OK so I think I get the hang of this, especially after the pictures. Is the key to this the "post" fader setting as you mention? In the short experience I've had with this method so far, I would say pushing into multiple compressors with a fader is a big part of what makes this worth doin...
