I'm having the same problem. I called MOTU and the 17 year old disgruntled person at the other end of the phone couldn't understand what was happening! He was pretty sure I had done something wrong because it worked fine at MOTU (nice).

I've got both EWQLSO Gold and MSI. I purchased MSI for the historic instruments and the recorders (as odd as this sounds) are really top notch.
