All of the Air betas do not load as VST3 and Hybrid doesn't load as AU as well so VST2 only right now.
Still I'm pleasantly surprised, I thought these were all depreciated. Hopefully a GUI refresh is next.

Re: Logic Pro 11 coming May 13
Stem splitting is a cool idea, but personally there's only a few that will do it for guitar, and that's currently what I need. The funniest part in a Schadenfreude way is iZotope only really had ARA support for Logic, it's currently only working in Rosetta on Apple Silicon, but then they announce a ...

Re: Simple way to play .caf files (Apple Loops) inside DP11?
I have not used either GarageBand or Logic Pro or Apple Loops for Soundtrack Pro for a very long time. I thought it would be nice to see if I could get them to play inside DP11. Is there a simple method to play .caf files (Apple Loops) inside DP11? Caf Files will automatically convert to WAV or AIF...

1. I wish you could indeed "LOCK" the mixer window track selector and have it be independent of the tracks window. Hi Chris, You can. Go to Settings>Edit Windows>Track Selector Button> and choose: "Always opens the edit window's track selector" Now the little track selector butt...

Re: Beachballs on the reg
I would not upgrade to Sonoma until at least version 14.5 is out.
The firs place to look is always plugins IMO, if you can handle it, disable all your plugins in the Preferences/Plugins menu, make a copy of your current set first though.
After that if it doesn't work it's drivers.

Re: DP Gripes, and things that have (almost) pushed me to Cubase
This is an ongoing issue that I’ve never solved: I’m in Track View. I mouse-select several audio tracks. I hit Shift-M to open Mixer (floating window). It shows the PREVIOUS mixer configuration, NOT the tracks I just hightlighted. Seems like it has a ‘memory’ as to my previous mix. If I then close ...

Re: DP Gripes, and things that have (almost) pushed me to Cubase
I went ahead and downloaded this to test. It shortens notes randomly with all piano plugins here, EW, NI, IK, and Arturia which is a virtual instrument from what I know, It does not shorten any synthesizer plugin I throw at it. Side note, if you hold down the Sustain peddle it doesn't shorten the n...

Re: DP Gripes, and things that have (almost) pushed me to Cubase
I highly recommend staying mostly with AU and using VST3 when you have to. Yes, plugins and plugin incompatibility is the #1 reason for issues, in any DAW really, but VST3 at least in my experience is more likely to fail DP's plugin evaluation than AU. I instal all three formats, AU, VST3 and VST2 f...

IPersonally I wish I had a copy of P Lite, I would love to see what their stripped down workflow looks like. You’re not missing much. The app is stripped down a bit, but the workflow isn’t much different, except that some of the editors are missing and you have to make do with the editors that are ...

Re: The time has almost come..
I'm pretty sure Performer Lite and DP11 can exist on the same computer with no issues. I get wanting to get rid of a program you don't use, but it should not be an issue. Personally I wish I had a copy of P Lite, I would love to see what their stripped down workflow looks like. I don't currently own...

Re: No MOTU MIDI timepiece in MIDI studio...
What is “goalposts”? I did not remove anything this time. I simply updated Ventura from Apples own suggestions. I pushed the update and restarted. And voilá MTP AV came up in Clockworks. MOTU and Apple seems to be “disconnected”. MOTU (I have a few other than my two MTP) don’t give a crap about us ...

Re: Tracks, Track Selection......aargh!
I think the solution could be locks on the Track Selector, so you select tracks for the mixer that make sense for that window then hit the lock, etc. unlock to add or subtract tracks. It's probably harder than it sounds like to do though. As it stands you can make a track template for each window an...

Re: Sonoma 14.4 crash/kernel panic/reboot with Kontakt 7
I have a recurring bug in Generate an iLok protected instrument, it decides randomly to ask for authorization even though it's authorized on my iLok... :banghead: I don't know if it's an OS issue? probably not. I'll try authorizing the computer because it's kind driving me nuts. To a smaller degree ...
