Have a problem on dual processor 2ghz powermac. Logic sees Etno as does DP but not Cubase v 4 4.0.2.2213 yet Cubase SX3 saw it but not Cubase 4 while Macfive 2 works as does MSI in Cubase 4. Any one running Etno in Cubase 4 ... perhaps there is a preference file one has to trash.

I tried several times from Cubase SX3 to convert audio files by exporting an
OMF file from SX 3 then when importing into DP 4.61 I get message OMF file contains data that DP cannot read why is this yet Logic opens the same file no problem

As both a Logic and DP user I must say the realtime recording MIDI as well as Audio in the track is why I prefer DP which I cannot do in Logic for a virtual instrument Audio unit So bus out of any plugin say bus 1 and 2 of macfive or halion say bus 3 and 4 etc choose the the MIDI plugin output after...

Could be the driver for your MIDI interface causing a problem in DP not compatible with Tiger and Motu. Try switching your MIDI interface off on playback. We had a bad experience of a bad driver for a unitor 8 which showed the imput red flashing on input port 1 caused clicking
