Indeed that.

This holiday dance is turning out to be a drag... so now we can crank the good music and try on all our costumes!

Re: A Beatles Virtual Instrument

Zed-- you and I communicate often via email. Maybe I will make a track of the Chopin to better explain what I mean. It might be with a lesser VI, but I hope it would demonstrate the carriage of the harmony to support the melody more fully. I'll get back to you in short order. Cool, thanks! And for ...

Re: A Beatles Virtual Instrument

Just FYI, Vienna Symphonic Library has a new Bluthner that sounds fantastic. I don't know if you've checked it out, but it's worth a listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfHZBW90YYM That one is at the top of my piano wish list... but it's pretty expensive. I can't afford it right now, but I defi...

Re: A Beatles Virtual Instrument

And did you notice that the only Beatle whose signature is not on the guitar is sort of encapsulated in the cool design?

Re: A Beatles Virtual Instrument

Maybe "Frodo Baggins" would fit? But without the space... Frodobaggins Or Frodobacker ... I didn't customize anything knowingly. I bought all the metal parts and knobs from Rickenbacker except of course anything with a brand on it. The wiring diagram is from the Ric site, using stock elec...

Hey Bayswater, I have a feeling that you did participate in this thread somewhere within it's 109 pages. I feel like you were there the whole time... but maybe that was just seeing you in other threads. Not sure. The great thing about these guitar tones is that you can download the assets right now ...

Wow. It's hard to believe that it's been 13 years!! This thread still shows up in my profile stats as my "Most active topic". So glad you started this thread way back when, Mr. Frodo. Happy 13th Anniversary! There have been a few Beatles Virtual Instrument releases since last reported, inc...

Re: Magic Dave, PLEASE explain the DP8 memory usage meter

Well, tried making menumeter display the smallest graphic to take less space this morning and it still does not work: DP boots it out of the way. Too bad... That should not be. I have had MenuMeters for years and they report for duty all day long. You have "Display CPU Menu Meter" checked...

Re: T-RackS 4 is out, w/ 5 new plug-ins and CSR integration

No Zed, I haven't tried it yet. I don't have anything underway where it would make a difference. From the face plate and discussion, I assumed it's an emulation of the SSL 4000. Yeah... I finally looked at the GUI more carefully and realized that the controls do not match the controls of either Abb...

Re: T-RackS 4 is out, w/ 5 new plug-ins and CSR integration

Honestly, I think it's the ugliest plugin I've ever seen. Even if it sounds good I wouldn't want to have to look at that module on my screen. That's funny. I guess you've seen this? http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=5161520 Actually no... I hadn't seen that. I've been pretty out of touc...

I set up a combination of COMMAND-SPACE to record (which is like holding down record while pressing play)
Aren't those both the defaults? They are what I use as well.

Too bad too, since I usually go for the British thing.
