Interesting, I do scoring as well and typically have 250 tracks in a session. I use the folders but looking at the session I have up now, it's only 11 folders. DP will not work with PT9. I have it working with PT8.04 just fine, but it wouldn't work with 8.1.

I don't have PT9 yet - no reason for me to upgrade as of yet. I did try DP with PT8.1 though, and it does not work. So, I guess it is the end of the line for DAE use. I turn off the event chasing for cc7 for that very reason. In the past, sometimes I've had issues with the chasing knocking certain tracks to zero. Also, I make it a habit to print my cc7 in front of the track so that it's always going to where it needs to be.

I was just thinking about that today. I've been hammered with scoring for the better part of the summer and just now coming up for air. Haven't had the chance to try it yet. I'll update my other boot drive to 10.6.4 and install PT8.0.4 and give it a go.

What Tonwurm said, you have to install DP after PT.
Also I would delete prefs, both DP and DAE and repair permissions.
