articulation maps bug & partial solution

I had recently purchased Babylonwaves extensive collection of articulation maps. (Great collection and really good technical support!) My maps didn't work after a restart of DP11 because the outputs kept defaulting to Eb20, which is not a real pitch. In the Preferences in DP, changing the Pitch Disp...

"A few years late, but it may help someone Googling."

Thank you Buzzsmith. This solved my 9.51 problem today.

I had 72 files to import and couldn't figure out why they wouldn't get added to the Soundbite window as a group.

No solution besides muting those channels, but I've got the same problem.

Re: Drop-outs on bounce to disk Lame mp3

Have you tried flushing the memory in Performer? Sometimes that helps me get rid of static, especially on fades or other volume changes.

I didn't say disable QuicKeys! I can't work without it either. I'm just talking about the "QuicKeys Background Engine" which can cause problems. With the background engine process quit (using Activity Monitor) you won't get the palettes in QuicKeys, but who uses those anyway? (They are too...

Ram, Ram everywhere

I noticed in Rick Averill's signature the following: Mac Pro (Intel), 10 Gig RAM, 3 Ghz, OS X.4.9; MOTU UltraLite, M-Audio Keyboard, QuicKeys; Notation: Finale 2007c (Finale user since late 80s--v. 2.something); Sequencing: Digital Performer 5, Garritan GPO, JABB, Strad, Gofriller; Kontakt 2.2 (full...

Crash when editing ctr #7 in graphic editor

When I edit the controller #7 in the graphic editor (I use the lines graphic), often, but not always, the program crashes when I click on or try to move a Cnt. #7 point.

It is very frustrating. I can't find anything in the tech support files on this.

Does anyone have any solutions?

Check overlaps of same pitch notes

You mention that you use Finale. I think that sometimes Finale extends the lengths of notes in Human Playback to create legato (when exporting MIDI). You could try, as an experiment, shortening all of your note durations by 90% in Performer and see if some notes still hang. If this clears up the pro...
