Are you on Windows or a Mac? In Windows right click and make a shortcut, on the Mac, control click the file name and a pop up window will let you make an alias.

When i open the FX window, it pops up. but also only displays half of the GUI. I have recently found that minimizing the standalone and then maximizing it it displays correctly. Im using XP pro. Yeah, the installation routine for the Mac was dead wrong, and my tech support form is still "unread"...

What host are you using?

anyone know how many sample layers this thing has? i think the scarbees are about 40 velocity layers. The Scarbee's are very detailed - fantastic samples. Got it! The installation script doesn't do what it's supposed to. Here's a work around. Install ILok software and ILock Copy sample files to hard drive you want them install software for EK make aliases for the files copy the alias files to this folder /Library/Application Support/MOTU/ElectricKeys...

You are spot on. The MTRON is quite something...It's one of the best virtual instuments in terms of real world sound that I know of. EC falls short on that score. But I do really like the EC farfeza (sp?)/Italian rips....the only thing wrong is that they are near perfect tune. Also, missing some 60...
