Re: Many Bugs and I'm at my wit's end...
A couple of questions about your resource issue: Where are your samples located? What buffer size are you running? Are you using a high performance power plan in windows? (Be sure to turn off usb selective suspend, and to not turn off hard drives) Have you disabled core parking in windows? Are you a...

Re: Digital Performer Questions pre sales
Hi, What is the copy protection for Digital Performer? syncrosoft? iLok password? challenge respone? you enter your key, email, and it activates the installation via their servers. Is there a 32 bit installer as well as a 64 bit installer? the installer installs both 32 and 64 bit versions of the s...

Re: DP 9.1 for Windows is here also
A bit of necromancy, but i'm having the cpu trouble that some others (on both platforms) are reporting. A 30% cpu/0% resource project in 9.02 is unplayable for me in 9.1x. Even the DP demo project sends the cpu/resource hit into dropout land. This is at 1024 buffers. NOTE: I never change buffer size...

Re: Win10 & DP9 - Two serious issues.
2) When I first start a sequence DP sends this weird massive glob of random notes to everything, and even more annoying it sends a max volume change to all my synths. So if I have the Prophet-08 for example set to 50% volume DP changes it to 100%. Does the same thing to the JD-XA. So are the Mixer ...

Re: DP 9, MOTU plug-ins, settings values invisible?
It's been a while since I've been here, but I've had the same issue since win10 dropped. I had reported via techlink @ MOTU back then, and they confirmed/replicated.

Re: UNofficial Digital Performer Community issue list - Wind
win10, DP 9.1(x64) Issue 1: values not showing for older stock plugins (for instance, Trim). Value fields are just white. You can enter values, and they seem to take effect...you just can't see what the values actually are. Some of the newer plugins also exhibit minor gui misalignments (megasynth is...

Re: side-chain?
Plenty of VST2 plugins support sidechaining...it's pretty much always been there. When steinberg started pushing vst3, they basically said "VST2 sidechaining is not supported", and they apparently stopped it from working as it always had in cubendo, in order to push VST3. Some plugins that...

Re: DP 9.01 - Better hold off
Are you using the custom amp sim or liveroom plugins? This is a known issue with those (at least since v8.06?). If not, i'd suggest removing other plugs to see if it goes away, but thus far, only the amp sims/liveroom seem to cause this for me (i'd posted a thread about this a while back). It's repo...

Re: 4k TV or display with DP
On my retina display, velocities and tempos are tiny and hard to grab. Some screen text is too small for me. but it is not awful, just less than ideal. i'm only running 1080p (17" display), and find it pretty much fine. now i'm curious to get my hands on a 4k to see how it behaves. Note: there...

Re: DP9 crashes when trying to quantize
Are you running DP as administrator, by chance? I guess I am. I am the only user on this computer and therefore the administrator or do I get your question wrong? Maybe it's just got to do with the fact that I am using the demo version? Thank you for your help! Sorry for the late reply, but try rig...
