Re: RANT: Windows Vista means Panoramic Photos?
The first I'm a PC ads may have their issues, but they don't bother me too much. At least they are well produced and the people in them don't seem unlikable. It's the user videos that I think are so awful. Yikes! Cannon, Jim's right; the repeated-exposure effect is taking root. Run away from the sc...

Re: 896 Volume Design Flaw?
I've had my 896 for a few years now. About once a year, I scare the crap out of myself when I forget what that switch does and flip it just to see.

Re: RANT: Windows Vista means Panoramic Photos?
I haven't seen that one, but those "I'm a PC" user uploads are some of the worst things I've ever seen in advertising. All of those people are creepy and weird. They make me want to buy a Mac(or use Linux, anything but what they are using). Windows probably didn't make them that way, but I...

Re: Visualizers
Thanks. It looks like you have to pay $30 to get the standalone versions of those. I'm not quite that interested. I did remember that I have the Soundstream screen saver. Might just stick with that for a while.

Visualizers
Does anyone know of any standalone visualizers for the Mac(10.4)? I'm hoping to find something that I could use with Pandora.

Robert Duvall wasn't in that one either. I guess that you are thinking of Tommy Lee Jones.Shooshie wrote:Wups... I just confused the titles of two recently watched movies. I was describing No Country for Old Men. These Shooshie Moments are happening with greater frequency.

Re: Installing RAM on a Macbook Pro
I ordered my RAM from OWC. The rebate came from them. At the time the rebate was $15 for a 1GB chip, but it's probably different now.

Re: Installing RAM on a Macbook Pro
There are only two RAM slots in the MBP. When I got my MBP it came with two 1GB chips. To get the full amount of RAM, I had to order 4GB and return the original 1GB chips for a rebate.

Re: DP6 & Reason 4 - not getting sound thru Audio Track with Rew
Just to make sure, do you have the same Input Monitoring Mode setting on both systems? It should be Monitor record-enabled tracks through effects(they didn't change this in DP6 did they?).

Well, DP pretty much does what I want, and I haven't crashed it in months. I don't really have much else to bitch about.

Re: Ooooo ... it's all new
...having names on the right seems a bit weird Well yes and no. It is a little offsetting at first, but for those of us who read from left to right and find avatars sometimes distracting, it's actually better. OUr eyes reach the right side and the avatar pushes them back to the left even faster. Th...

Re: Need an AC30ish model
I've been pretty happy with the results that I've gotten with my amp in a closet surrounded by old duvets and dirty laundry.

Re: Ooooo ... it's all new
I guess that I'll get used to it if it's the way that it's going to be, but having the names on the right seems off to me. It is what it is. This... AGAIN... is a skin based on the default phpBB 3.0 theme and it is temporary. This is NOT what it will look like ultimately and that can be moved to th...

I like the new Drafts feature. I don't have to save posts that I'm not sure about onto stickies anymore.
