Re: MPE is broken in DP 11.1 and Higher

:D Let's go back to piano rolls.

Ok tried again with wire connection instead of blue tooth. At least notes are recorded with the correct time stamps.

But global CCs are not working. I'm going to fill a bug report.

Re: MPE is broken in DP 11.1 and Higher

Hi,

Just got a Seaboard.
It seems to me MPE is broken in 11.31 .

All notes are recorded with timing @ 0.
Common CC (like the ModX MoxY and macros) do not transmit to Equator 2.

Re: DP11 is here!

Hi, I tried to install UVI Workstation, but then it failed to start from DP (UVI says it's not compatible with Mac Silicon). I then installed again DP11 and then UVI Workstation works (at least starts). So is a compatible UVI Workstation AU plug-in is bundled with the DP installer? (Well it seems un...

Re: Ultralite mk3 input DC Offset

Hi, Reconnected the traveller after a few month sitting on my desk. No DC offset at first then after two minutes, the offset was back. Looks like hardware (may be a condenser), but saw no visual clue of a problem and I didn't have the courage to unscrew the logic board (30 screws I guess ;) ) I'll t...

Re: Ultralite mk3 input DC Offset

Not a solution, sorry, but I have exactly the same problem with the Traveller.

I guess it's hardware, I should open it someday to see what's in it. Otherwise it's repair, about 400$ standard exchange for the traveller.
I guess nobody has the schematics?

Re: DP9 latency compensation broken

Damn, this must be it! I've been using DP for more than 10 years now, and I never heard of this option. Most of the time I use a 128 or 256 sample buffer, this time it was a 1024. I've noticed my piano playing was a bit behind time on recent recordings, I was planning on working on my time feel. Now...

DP9 latency compensation broken

Hi!

Did anyone noticed this?

When I record an audio track along with MIDI, the two are misaligned. The MIDI track is late.
I'm on my way to report this to MOTU.

Re: How many people here find DP 8.01 to be crash-prone?

One can crash DP8 using apple DLS synth: closing the synth windows (which also happens when you close the project, changing the audio settings, plug a headphone in the mac) result in immediate crash of DP. It's a pain as it's my main sampler for now :). AUSampler also freezes DP when you try to exte...

Re: Those who got DP8.. please let us know.

Surely this is my $$€#€*$ DP upgrade ever. Like I earlier said, my older laptop didn't work quite well with Eight. So today I picked a new Retina MBP 2.6Ghz/16Gb from a local Apple Store and now everything is very smooth in DP. DP 8 really rocks with this! (OT) this is a beautiful machine! G...

Re: Apple shipping the Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter.

First hand experience with this adapter on a new MacBook Pro Retina: Though I didn't push those interfaces to much (all inputs, phantom power), Motu Ultralite MK3 and Motu Traveller MK3 both seem to work well when powered by the adapter, whenever the macbook itself is connected to the power adapter ...

Re: Lion vs. Ultralite = White Noise!

I'm having that kind of issues here since I've upgraded to Lion. Suddenly, no out and sometimes a high pitched noise. I have a Motu traveller mk3, a 2006 MacBook pro and some disks connected on the firewire bus as well, It looks that it's more likely to happen under heavy processor load. To restore,...

Because not all the computer has 800's interface . Aramis Closer inspection of a blow-up of the back of the MkIII at the Motu website shows FireWire 400 ports. Other than perhaps a cost issue, is there any reason anyone can think of why they wouldn't go 800? This would not be a problem as you can c...

AU support: lagging?

I just read that side chains does not work in AU. I've already noticed that some AU does not work: - ET1 tuner from Emagic - AULooper from Apple (very nice looper that comes with the free developer tools) Also I've noticed that the AUMatrixReverb does not work in Quad (I did not try the other surrou...
