I see the OP is on a Mac. They may be better off posting in the Mac troubleshooting section. Another possible solution if you are on DP11 might lie in the Articulation Map Output settings by adjusting the Note Length or Delay settings.

I use Find Any File to track down fragments of uninstalled programs. It may take a bit longer, and there is no automation involved, but one is in complete control of the process and you get a very clear map of where the files are installed. It can get annoying though when the OS keeps asking for you...

I always find it easier to see Audio Options by option-clicking the speaker in the menu bar.

I did it with a G5 using the free version of SuperDuper.

I'm pretty sure I used to do this, but not with a CCC clone, but rather a SuperDuper clone. This is a really interesting adventure James - worthy of a YT series, since I'm sure you have the time!
