Re: Ohmboyz plugins in DP 11, Apple Silicone, OS Ventura
Love ohmicide. If you have another Mac laying around you could use that as an "FX box" This is how I still use ohmicide and some other fx that didn't port well. Just connect the two machines via ethernet and use either 1. VEPro 2. Audiogridder : https://audiogridder.com My main machine is ...

Re: Concatenating soundbites in a track?
You can also (depending on your version of dp)
Use the “set gap between soundbites”
I think it’s under regions? Not at my comp right now…anyway you select all the soundbites and set gap to 0 and you’re done

Re: Can Automator or Some Progam Make a Sequence of DP Commands?
A quick vid of a macro I made in keyboard maestro doing what I think you want to do...or at least the idea. select the MIDI track first It asks the number of notes you want to split (Number notes in the chord) Then shows only that selected track and proceeds to split out and move the notes using the...

Re: Can Automator or Some Progam Make a Sequence of DP Commands?
You can do this without needing a library with AppleScript or automator or ,even easier, with keyboard maestro. The trick is in the initial setup: To split the notes how you want go to the Region Menu select "Split Notes...". Set this up to: Get the notes using: Cut Send the notes to: One ...

Re: Mac Studio issues, latency
You aren’t alone. I’ve similar issues with my M1 and DP. The most irritating is the disappearing act. My audio interface is the ultra lite avb and I will say timing feels better after updating drivers. So that maybe something to look at. Also make sure you aren’t running dp Native and at the same ti...

Re: Including audio in a template
You could use Clippings to store anything you use regularly and they are available in all projects. Or you can use Load to import a sequence and audio files from another project. Ive been wanting more template options for as long time but as of now (still) the only thing that gets saved in a templat...

Re: Ground Control ROOM software... very cool... FREE version too!
Hey James, I've been playing with this thing for a minute too. From your pics it looks like you've set the clock source to ROOM and not your interface. Ive been trying to figure out which way is the most "correct" way as there isn't much info on setup that I can find. Have you tried it bot...

Re: Make shortcut for reversing soundbite?
No screen record needed. The script would look something like this: tell application "System Events" -- This is my key command for the Apply Plugin Windo window. Replace this with your own -- key code 42 using {shift down, control down, option down, command down} keystroke "reverse&qu...

Re: Make shortcut for reversing soundbite?
you would use AppleScript to create and run the action. Then use automator to create a "service" that DP can see and from there give that service a key command....its easier that nis sounds...I can make it for you. What is your key command to call up the Apply Plugin window?

Re: Make shortcut for reversing soundbite?
I'm assuming you're on a Mac? You don't need keyboard maestro to do this. You just need AppleScript and automator. You will use Automator to assign the script a keyboard shortcut.

Re: Suggestions for a good auto-filter plugin
Ive had great results with ShaperBox 2 from Cable Guys. Its not "auto" but it comes with some preset curves and its easy enough to draw in your own curves and has lots of sync options. Volume, Filter, Pan ,Width, and Crusher...I think...anyway all of those are independent from each other. ...

I would agree with 2 solutions already stated. A Trim plugin on the Master before all the processing and/or since you are on DP 10.x, use a VCA fader

Re: New track from selection?
From the SE window you can make a selection/grab anything and drag it to the left and hover over the Tracks. A blue outline appears and then just let go of the selection and DP makes a new track with your selection in it. This also works with MIDI. The only problem with it is DP doesn't drop it at t...

Re: Click and play
What you want is "Play from Selection Start" its in the Commands menu and you can assign a quick key to it. You don't have to make an actual selection to use it. Just put the insert (blinking line when you click on a track in the Sequence Editor) where you want and use that command and DP ...
