Re: 1248 and Direct Hardware Playthrough
Got exactly the same problems although not mixing/tracking live. I was shocked when I found out that the AVB mixer isn't showing 48 inputs at higher SR than 48kHz. This still isn't written in the manual nor in the specifications on the website. You only find it in the FAQ page. I was told this is du...

Re: 112D and Logic Pro crashing I/O Labels
Hi. I own also a 112D and had as I remember also issues with the I/O labels. They were not represented accurately in Logic... Ast the moment I am not in the studio but will check asap and let you know. On which system you are working? And what browser are you using for the motu-control? best, Frederic

Re: million dollar question about 2408 mk3 standalone and Dm
Hi! Yes that should work. But really sure? Nope... I never used them as standalone items. But I think if you got a PCI - card you can configure them like this. Best, Frederic

Re: AVB - Mixer - things not documented in the Manual!
I don't know if it's been added lately but I saw this : "112 inputs and 112 outputs (224 total) at 1x sample rates 80 inputs and 80 outputs (160 total) at 2x sample rates 16 inputs and 16 outputs (32 total) at 4x sample rates" http://motu.com/products/avb/112d/specs.html ( Total I/O ) We ...

Re: AVB - Mixer - things not documented in the Manual!
Update: There is a hint on their website. I was in contact with Brendan from Motu-tech-support. He found this for me: http://motu.com/avb/avb-faq#q14 I asked if it will be possible in the future to free up DSP for more channel / auxilary - counts in the AVB mixer with eg. switching of other features...

Re: AVB - Mixer - things not documented in the Manual!
I am in contact with Brian from motu - support (contact is a good word for that, one answer a day...) and he even does not understand what I am talking about. Did you get back to them about that? Honestly, if I would have know that, I definitely would have looked closer to other manufacturers like U...

Re: Feature Request 1248 AVB
[*]Being able to route both computer/AVB out to any output, together with any mixing channel, so i.e. can have individual zero latency mix onboard, together with individual onboard mixes, going out to individual monitor/headphones. For instance, using headphones at 5 live band musicians, having the...

Re: AVB - Mixer - things not documented in the Manual!
Yeah, you know this is you've read the entire 100+ page gearslutz thread, but not otherwise. The promo materials and manuals should be updated. I think it should have been communicated from the beginning. What they state on their website is just wrong. I hope a future firmware update will fix this ...

AVB - Mixer - things not documented in the Manual!
I recently went int the AVB - world. I come from PCI 424 with 3 X 2408MKIII and mixing into 48ch analog summing.... Now I own a 122D and an 24o. What is not documented at all in the manual, nor the Motu-Website is the following: the channel count of the mixer reduces in relation to the samplerate! I...

Re: Our monitors
After long research, testing and checking out I felt in love with my PSI 17M combined with the A225M - Sub. I got my own mixing-room and it is acoustical optimized. They are precise, can handle fast transients at ease and it is also fun, working with them. For some clients it was not easy to get use...

Re: CUE MIX does not reflect the PCI - Audio Set Up
So I had conversation with customer service. Very gentle very fast! :D But the truth is that CUEMIX DSP is not reflecting which I/O setup you choose in Motu Audio Setup! For example once you reserve the second ADAT bank for SMUX connection it will also show up in 44,1kHz set up although it is deacti...

CUE MIX does not reflect the PCI - Audio Set Up
I got 3 RME - Conveters hooked via lightpipe to 3X 2408 MK 3. So far so good. But once i change the setting in PCI Audio Set Up (disable some I/O regarding to switching from 88,2kHz to 44,1 as then i dont need the banks being used for SMUX) CUE Mix still shows all banks (144 I/O in 44,1kHz) Where do...

There you´ll find the answer... Line - level has more volts then mic/instrument - levels.
