Re: DP 10.13 and Big Sur
MOTU plugins seem fine, but some 3rd party instruments and effects are not operational. DP itself however does seem stable.

DP 10.13 and Big Sur
I have opened various files using Big Sur on my MBP, and don't appear to have any problems. I haven't recorded any audio, but all other functions were normal at first try. Anyone having problems?

Re: Big Sur, and Apple ditching Intel for laptops and iMacs
I have loaded the Big Sur public beta on a second computer (MBP), and DP 10.11 crashes from splash screen. Safe mode also crashes. But it's early days for the new system.

Re: Rhythmology
I agree that some of the claims are over the top, but it is a very complete and useful addition to my library. The lack of swing (triplet) feels are going to turn off many people, and I certainly hope an update will address this. Charlie When I saw the promo for Rhythmology, it made me kind of angry...

Rhythmology
Sample Logic released this plugin recently and it is very useful. It appears however not to support swing feels. I hope I'm missing something. Any comments?

Re: DP Falling Behind
Thanks for all the positive comments, they have inspired me even more! But also thanks to those with more critical replies - it shows the passion for DP in particular, and making music in general, is still alive and kicking!

Re: DP Falling Behind
The title is off-putting, but there's nothing wrong with a thread about what an app needs to keep improving it. If we could get 2 things added to DP, I'd vote for that "rubber band" or "warping" dragging in a selection, and probably an actual "snap to grid" function th...

DP Falling Behind
I have been an almost exclusive user of Digital Performer since Performer v 1, (1988 I think). It has been a wonderful program that has been the DAW for all my arranging and producing projects over the years. I must now make my first negative comment about DP 9. Audio manipulation has become an impo...

Re: DP9: Is it snappier?
I don't think it's snappier. And I'm still getting a spinning beach ball (that lasts for a few seconds) after I do certain things, just like in DP8. Mike Same. I notice no difference in snappiness. I am getting stuff done a lot faster with some of the new minor features though. Sequence window sele...

Re: DP9 now shipping.
Funny. People bitched for YEARS there was no PDF manual. Now they're bitching there's a PDF manual. LOL! Well as long as there's one - besides it's not like we need to go through it every day... FWIW, there's also a full MX4 manual, on a separate pdf. Where on the site can you download the PDF manu...

Yes you are correct, so I discovered. It is working for me now.Saintmatthew wrote:Pretty sure you have to record the output in realtime on account of the MIDI routing into the effect. The Finger, another Reaktor ensemble, is the same way.

Re: Reaktor Razor Vocoder Setup in DP
I have this setup working successfully in DP 8.0.6. When I bounce to disk, the whole vocoder chain doesn't record, although I hear it all thru the main outputs in DP when I play the sequence. Anyone explain?

Vocoder Bouncing Problem
Hi, I have used the Reaktor instrument Razor to vocode recorded vocals using a recorded MIDI trigger. It all works fine and plays back no problem. It shows up in the master fader. When I bounce it, all of the other tracks bounce but the vocoder tracks aren’t recorded. I can record the whole track in...
