Re: DP9 & BFD3 Multiouts

It works for me. OS 10.8.6. In Bundles, the stereo outs go to 2 through 16, then the mono outs are odd numbers only, 17, 19, 21, etc.

4) When done, I will then select only the newly created track and bounce that to mp3 if needed.* (make sure you are not sending this track through the master a 2nd time during this process) *If anyone knows of a reason to do this in a new session, let me know. It I am missing any steps, please let ...

Re: MOTU Please make Comp tool NOT cut underlying audio

So, Merge rather than Paste? That makes sense to me.

I still haven't tried the Comp feature

I always keep an eye on fades, as they often decide to not show up. Then merge and purge.

Re: Sidechain compression of a single frequency band in DP

Oh, and I seriously recommend that MOTU updates their EQ Dynamics plugin to allow sidechain assignations: It looks like a great tool, it just needs sidechain trigger capabilities to be perfect. Yeah. To me it's a no brainer that all compressor/dynamics plugins these days, even if they're vintage em...

Re: Sidechain compression of a single frequency band in DP

I've never tried this, but it might work: Duplicate the track, or set up an Aux track to send it through. In the inserts of the dupe, put a Phase Reverse (or Trim with phase flipped), an EQ, and a MW Gate in. Set the eq (HP and LP filters) for the frequency you want to duck. Sidechain the gate with ...

Re: How to solo the selected track

Hi I know I can alt-click on the play button of the track, but isn't there a keyboard short cut? No. There is a key command to Toggle Solo mode on/off. Then Option Click on the track play enable button (or solo button in the mixer). Option Click a track Play Enable only when in Solo mode... unless ...

Re: How to Automate Entire Effect

In Automation Setup, activate what you need (Effects Bypass, Efx Parameter, etc.). Put the track in Write, or Touch Write mode. click on the Bypass button, move a knob, and the data for those will show up in the track.
