When you say activated, do you mean that the plug-in passes examination in the Settings/Audio Plug-ins window, but doesn't show up as an insert in tracks in the mix window? Does Melodyne's VST3 version, included with DP 11.22 show up?

Thanks Michael! This did it. The trick is to play enable the scene, record enable the clip, and then just press play (not record). The clip will go into record mode and nothing will get recorded into the track. On page 300, step 5, the manual says "start recording". So I did lol.
