Does the lock fix the audio to real time rather than to the grid?

I'm trying to adjust the barlines in a project so that they line up with the existing drum track. The tempo is approximately 67bpm but fluctuates between 66 and 70. My audio interface has more than one stereo out, but DP is apparently only seeing the first one, as far as I can tell. The "Configuring Audio Devices" chapter in the Getting Started manual doesn't seem to cover this issue. Any suggestions?
