I'm on DP8+, so I can't confirm Kontakt+DP9 for you, but Kontakt runs just fine in DP 8 for me, so I doubt there is a compatability issue here. And I'm pretty sure the problem comes from DP, not Kontakt. I never encountered this problem in any other DAW.
