Bouncing individual MIDI tracks to separate audio tracks

My project involves 50 MIDI tracks and I need to create stems for a client who wishes to do his own mix. I know how to bounce the entire project and an individual track, but creating 50 audio tracks corresponding to the individual MIDI tracks is either going to involve bouncing one track at a time (...

Re: Switching among chunks and the MIDI editor

Thanks, I read the thread and am none the wiser unfortunately. But it was worthwhile checking my DP preferences. Everything appears to be in order, but the problem still exists and because it is intermittent, I can't help think this is a bug. Someone suggested sending the project to MOTU via a tech ...

Switching among chunks and the MIDI editor

A new problem (for me): I have a project with 14 chunks. If using the tracks window, switching is trouble free, but when I switch to the MIDI tab a different chunk pops up. The only solution is go back to the tracks window, select the correct chunk and try again. Sometimes things work as expected, a...

Re: Configure Hardware Settings for Audio recording (mic)

Yes it does show up in the Audio/MIDI utility. But so does Aggregate. I want the Audient interface to be my input source for the recording, but the utility also seems to want it to be an output. That confuses. An output to where? I want my output to be the Built-in 1-2. I have tried many many combin...

Re: Configure Hardware Settings for Audio recording (mic)

Hi I did do the setup in the Bundles dialog, but the Audient is no longer visible. I do have the option of selecting an aggregate device. I have the latest driver for the iD14 interface. When I go to the Setup/Configure Hardware Settings I see: Built-in microphone Built-in Output Aggregate Device.No...

Configure Hardware Settings for Audio recording (mic)

I'm stumped. I am trying to record to an audio track using a condenser mic connect through an Audient iD14 audio interface (uses USB). I cannot, for the life of me get the I/O settings to work. I get feedback, then no sound, depending on how I do this. I have been using the Setup/Configure Hardware ...

Re: Advice re MIDI controller

If ArtFarm 1 sees this, or if anyone else can help, that would be great.
I'm having a little trouble setting up my Akai MIDI Mix to use in DP 9.52.
I started off ok, but then things got a bit confusing...

Thanks :D

Re: Advice re MIDI controller

This thread is from more than a year ago, but very helpful to see a positive opinion about the AKai MIDIMix controller. I just bought a used one for $60 and am hoping it will work well with DP 9.52. I’ll post again once I know how things go.

Re: Aria Player plugin and VEP 6

Thanks for the responses. I've had no help (yet) from the other two forums. For now, and I guess it's up to Garritan to update their plug-in (not sure if this is the case). In the meantime I will use Aria very sparingly if at all. I'd rather be writing music than troubleshooting software, anyway :ro...

Aria Player plugin and VEP 6

I'm posting here and on the Garritan and VSL sites as well. Not sure who should be asked this question. I want to use the Aria plug in to set up a channel within Vienna Ensemble Pro 6. I know how to do this, but the plug in does not respond to MIDI at all. If I create an Instrument Track in DP and a...

Re: Adjust overall tuning of a stereo audio track

There is an unassigned command in DP for quantizing pitch. Find it in the Commands Window and assign a key to it. I use the "Q" on my QWERTY keyboard. In the Sequence Editor, each track has a number of menu fields associated with it next to the name. The one that usually says Soundbites c...

Adjust overall tuning of a stereo audio track

I have a 2 tracks (one MIDI and one audio) that were recorded years apart. The audio track is saxophone and is slightly sharp (compared to the MIDI piano track). Is there a way to adjust the intonation of the audio track (by a few cents only)? I don't want to change the tuning of the piano because i...

Maybe could try to add an extension to the file? I don't know what that would be, though.
