Re: Composer Cloud from EastWest

Just to be clear, you can pay month to month or annually, but you are committing to 1 year. Does this remain true? Someone told me you could now cancel at any time. Have the terms of service changed since you wrote this? Thx! No indeed, this is no longer true. You can now do month to month and canc...

Re: ProDrummer is released

This looks interesting! Checking it out. I was reviewing the tech requirements and if I might make a suggestion/request, could you update "Performer" to "Digital Performer"? Performer doesn't exist anymore. It's been Digital Performer for almost two decades I believe. Also, I wi...

Re: Composer Cloud from EastWest

Understood. However, rendering anything you subscribe to would still be advisable. I can see a situation where I used just one instrument in a library, but didn't render it. Trying to open it later (years later maybe) would not be possible without re-subscribing or buying the library. Agreed, I lik...

Re: Composer Cloud from EastWest

Print to audio is my sincere advice. Always may be problems with the “cloud”, internet, your internet service etc. More things can SURELY go wrong with this model compared to having all software in your own single computer. Print to audio in case internet goes “poof” for a few hrs or something else...

Re: Composer Cloud from EastWest

Thanks for posting EW Lurker. Oh. That's bit different. I was reading it wrong. I thought you could monthly OR yearly and get a price break for committing to a year. With that in mind I'm not sure this is a good idea. Well, of course that is a decision for every individual to make but if you do not...

Re: PLAY 4.2.25 is now available for download

I just did the update, and now I get an error message when I load a DP project that one of my Play libraries (Stormdrum 2) is not authorized. I own it, I see it is authorized in ILok! Called EW, no answer or reply for 24-hours. Their customer service is the worst I have ever seen…and that is saying...
