Hmmm, went to try the "Host Buffer Multiplier" but it's not there. I guess that answers that
All is good at 1024 anyway

Re: Performance
@Terry ...
I can only go to 1024, is that a ram thing? R U on a desktop with 32G's of ram?
Just curious.

Re: Performance
Sorry guys, I'm a idiot. Didn't have my buffer up. Must of had it down during some MIDI tracking and forgot to bump it up again. Smooth as silk with either the 828 or internal audio card. This was just using audio (I print my VIs to leave as much cpu and ram for mixing), but I was getting the same r...

Performance
Just curious what others get. When mixing, and I have the 828mk3 plugged in, I'm usually pushing the cpu and redlining getting spurts and sputters during playback. Very annoying. Same session booted without the 828 and using the internal audio card my cpu sits around 25-50% and runs smooth as silk. ...

MIDI recorded late
For some reason when I record MIDI tody it all gets recorded 9 beats late. I assume I've hit a shortcut accidentally that is some kind of MIDI input shift.
Anyone know what I've done? Can't seem to find it or anything in the manual that relates other than input quantize.
Tks.

I agree, but you can't see automation lanes in V-Racks.

Song Window Aux Overload
Had an idea today regarding auxes always being active in Chunks when using song mode. If you have chunks arranged in the Song Window with Auxs (reverb, delay ...) in each chunk, just mute them in each chunk with automation before the chunk start time and again after the chunk end time. It's not perf...

Re: New Saved Time
Sounds like you're right. Strange way of setting it up, it should save whatever is selected. Played properly when selected but changed when saved as a "saved time".
Live and learn. Some strange concepts, but I'm gettin' used to it.

Re: New Saved Time
It's not a glich, turns out I needed to change the Time Format to Measures, it was set to TC. I wouldn't think this wouldn't matter because it should still save the selection, but as TC instead of measures.
Just leaving this here in case any other newbees come across this problem.

New Saved Time
Everytime I setup a "New Saved Time" it's not getting stored properly. The Start and Stop points get randomly shifted earlier. Ex. If I want to store a loop from bar 2|1|000 to 16|1|000 as soon as I hit Ok to confirm the Name, it randomly shifts Left, in this case it stores it as 1|4|464 t...

Re: Sort Plugins
LOL, no, gave up on sorting 19 months ago, just stumbled on this today :-P Now that I've found this I don't care about sorting them, it was more about organization and this is perfect. Better actually, when I'm looking for an eq, comp, rev, etc, I can right click and they're all grouped however suit...

Re: Sort Plugins
Seems this isn't possible. The best workaround, and what I prefer anyway, is explained about midway through this MOTU video ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWvvHWOcMh4 In the Effect Chooser window, after you've setup your User Categories, right click on User Categories and select Save as Menu Ca...

Re: OMF Import issue. Help fast please!!!
It works for me out of Premier if I don't embed the audio when exporting.
After importing the OMF drag the audio files from the OMF created folder to the DP Audio Files folder and DP should find them.
