Re: Film scoring ethic

Thanks, everyone.

I think I'm gonna use vimeo for my samples instead of youtube as the later tend to close down any uploaded 2-3 minutes insignificant snippet of known movies even for a beginner who's starting to get an opportunity by using an orchestral mock up.

Film scoring ethic

I wonder if doing a score to a short footage will violates a copyright. Anyone has an experience about this? Next year I must have some kind of portfolio to show. And I think I'm gonna rely so much to cut scenes. Or otherwise if I can find some public domains that I can use also for practicing. But ...

Re: How to mono freezing?

The problem with freezing it creates new track accordingly to frozen track output - regardless the mono/stereo type of the track. Last time I tried I just went to record it. It much easier and works to get a pan-able mono soundbite. However, now I'm trying to look a bouncing command for single track...

Re: How to mono freezing?

Do you want to end up with a mono file, or do you want to end up with a stereo file that has audio on only one side? One side stereo audio file means mono file? I used to work with DAW that bounce/freeze a mono track to pan-able mono audio track. So should I go on with this stereo frozen track for ...

Re: How to mono freezing?

I don't understand what you meant by "fold down to mono".

I got a MIDI track and mono audio track that is assigned to mono output. But can't be panned when frozen.

How to mono freezing?

I changed the output track to mono before freezing, but the result is not what I expected. The frozen track can't be panned to the opposite side it wasn't panned before freezing. I need a mono frozen track that can be panned properly. Thanks.

Re: 16 more inputs/outputs?

I don't quite understand beside adding more kontakt player. I can have up to 64 mono outputs from kontakt and have each of them routed to DP's track input easily. Only the track's output doesn't have them. Tried to look up "bundles" but have no idea.

16 more inputs/outputs?

Help. I loaded 32 channels from kontakt. But DP only recognize 16 outs.
I need 16 more outputs, and also 16 more MIDI inputs. Kontakt has 16 MIDI channels for each port. But the rest ports beside A port are unavailable. How to enable this?

Thanks in advance.

Help: steady tempo on multiple markers

Hi, this is my first post. I've been doing this (put markers on downbeat) so It would ease when composing on hitpoints. But then it infact must change the tempo between markers. Difficulties are I have to face these multi tempos or sudden time changing when composing in real time. Although it could ...
