Re: DP9 - Some files crash on loading, some don't?
It may be a plugin issue. See my problem and answers from MOTU: "Create a new project. Choose File->Load Select the project you are trying to open. Highlight and click Open. Select the Sequence you are trying to load on the right; if there is only one, select it. Check all eight boxes underneat...

Re: side-chain?
I'm not 100% sure what you are asking, but if you are trying to side chain vst plugins, you can't do it because DP doesn't support VST3

Re: Anyone Using ARC Systen 2?
I've been using it for about a year, and It's made a big difference. I wish there was a way to use a plug-in in the focusrite mixcontrol rather than in DP, so that I'd hear everything that is played on my system, so I'd be able to hear reference material through it, but other than that, I can't reco...

Re: DP 9.01 - Better hold off
I am using some native instrument amp sims. I wish I could go back a couple of days and try removing them. For the most part, the problem has slowly faded away. It seems like DP has been background processing everything it could could find, and finally caught up. Still a little weirdness, but mostly...

Re: DP 9.01 - Better hold off
It gets weirder.
All my songs pretty much don't scroll, or display the time... Unless I go to the mixer window, and click and hold any fader. Then everything works until I let go. Weird.

Re: DP 9.01 - Better hold off
Well, now it did the same thing in 9.0. I installed 9.01 again, and if I wait long enough before hitting play, it seems to scroll for the most part. I suspect that DP is processing something or other, and doesn't think it has enough ooomph to do everything. This is a fast computer with lots of ram. ...

Re: DP9.01 for PC with Waves 9 Plugins
I haven't delved deep enough to know for sure, but I suspect that we're still on vst2, which doesn't allow side chains. I'd really like to try vocalrider at its full potential.
What's you fix for more than 33 instances (not that I've ever run out yet.

I'm back to 9.0
I'm going to wait until the next update. 9.0 isn't too bad.

DP 9.01 - Better hold off
Lots of stuff not working correctly for me. Scroll bar/bar/beat display, jerkiness.
I'm now trying to uninstall everything, so I can reinstall 9.0
I'd wait.

Never mind. I see that for some reason it loads both versions.
I somehow chose the 32 bit version.

dp9 64 bit?
I just upgraded to 9, and I don't see how I can load the 64bit version, the 32 bit version loads, and I can't load half of my plugins.
There doesn't seem to be an option in the install.
Am I missing something?

Re: Missing Sidechain Inputs
I'm not sure I have any waves instruments, so I can't say they work. I use the audio plugins.
I've been using DP for about a year, and didn't realize that vst was a new thing for motu.
I don't have protools, but it sounds like the sidechain works there.

Re: Missing Sidechain Inputs
I have an s-load of waves v9 plugins working without problem in DP8. The only thing that doesn't work, that I know of, is the sidechain. Never had any problems.
