Thanks Mike, that's done the trick. Not vibe-ing w/ OSX yet but its only been a month. Now to integrate my Motu MIDI XT.

Orig 828 FW chained to a mkii and i have to choose i/o dev?
I tried to get the most info in the title as possible b/c i did a search myself and had trouble finding the answer. I had a windows setup way back with these same two devices that when I FW-chained the orig 828 to an mkii I would get 22 i/o (or 16 I don't recall but it was both) But now I'm on Maver...
