For anybody facing Ultralite Hybrid freezes, no sound or high pitch issues with Windows 7, try disabling xHCI (USB 3.0 controller) in the BIOS - even tho you're using USB 2.0 ports. That or install Windows 8. None of these solutions are entirely satisfying to me but at least it's fixing the interfac...

I have the exact same problem after installing the Hybrid on a new system.
