Vienna Ensemble Pro and Composer Tools Pro On Mac Silicon
It seems the long awaited VEP on Apple Silicon has arrived which is great news for composers. However, for us that are using Composer Tools Pro, the MKRecallSend Plug in is NOT Silicon compatible which means you can only use it (STILL) in Rosetta mode. This is highly disappointing as DP is probably ...

Re: Bring the volume down all at once?
Under track groups (slide the right side of screen over to reveal) and select ALL. then highlight all your tracks, go to mixer window, now all faders will move at once. (except ones that are automated)

Re: MOVIE PLAYBACK LAG
this problem persists even now. To fix: use hand brake and export the file as an mp4 with H.264 (x264) constant quality 22, Peak Framerate, audio aac 160bit stereo, filters off except Deinterlace Decomb and 1920 or less resolution. This will give you a snappy and proper start. There is definately a ...

Problems with STYLUS rmx DP10 Windows
I am using DP10 windows 10 thunderbolt. For some reason opening stylus RMX absolutely MAXES out my processor. When I route via vienna ensemble pro on same machine there is no issue. Has anyone had this issue and know why it might do this?
It didnt do this in DP9.

Re: Massive overloading in both 9.1 and 9.12
Vienna Ensemble Pro will help you a lot as well as getting a pcie solid-state drive. I am using the Sonnet Tempo adapter and it makes a huge difference. And yes running Vienna Ensemble on your host machine will make a huge difference you don't need to use it on the slave even though that's a good th...

Re: Massive overloading in both 9.1 and 9.12
I will say Play 5 helps, also if you use Vienna Ensemble Pro running your plugins and that will eliminate that.

Re: Massive overloading in both 9.1 and 9.12
Also NOTE when running libraries through Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 on the same machine DP is on (haven't tried 6 yet) The overload on input is gone, thus confirming the issue is DP 9.12 has a massive problem for composers, and confirmed with MOTU tech support but they said only "certain machines&qu...

Re: Massive overloading in both 9.1 and 9.12
Agree about East west being bug laden, however DP 9.1 and 1.2 clearly has a performance issue at least with my machine. Libraries such as Signal, Berlin and other Kontakt libraries are spiking on input only. After talking with tech support they confirmed its not just me..

Massive overloading in both 9.1 and 9.12
Im not sure what is wrong but at 256 buffer size DP is having massive Overload and efficiency problems with the East West Play, Berlin libraries and the Signal pulse engine. It only happens on input and not when the MIDI has been recorded. When I play the tune the new processing kicks in and its ver...

universal Audio Apollo 16 latency HELP!
I am trying to run a recording session with zero latency monitoring from universal apollo 16 but get the flamming double monitoring effect. Motu's "direct hardware monitor" is greyed out and unavailable using apollo. So while I can track with no latency through apollo console and turning t...
