Re: Input on multiple MIDI tracks
Thanks a lot for your replies! @Shooshie: thanks a lot for your answer, more that a "piano reduction" on the output I was looking for some multiple input for all the tracks, while keeping the sounds. But I would love to know how to do what you described, I find it really useful to "pr...

Input on multiple MIDI tracks
Hi there, I've set up a multitimbral VI, and I'd like to have a "summing" MIDI track, while keeping discrete MIDI inputs to the different instruments in the multitimbral, rather than linking all the instruments in the VI to, let's say MIDI channel 1. I'd like that for the purpose of sketch...

Blue Yeti and monitoring latency
Hi, I bought a Blue Yeti mic, and it works great if I just plug it in my Mac and plug my headphones in the Yeti, I have zero latency. When I launch DP and I set up Yeti as main input and output in my HW driver, it works like every other USB mike, so the monitoring it affected by the buffer latency. ...

Destructive MIDI recording only for modwheel
Hi there, I recorded the notes into a MIDI track. Then I put the recording in overdub mode and I recorded the mod-wheel. Now let's say I'm not happy with the mod wheel I recorded from a certain measure on, and I'd like to re-record it, while preserving the notes. I noticed that if I put the recordin...

Assigning mouse button 3 and 4 Lexington trackball
Hi there,
I just watched this video by Jay Oliver about how to use the trackball for zooming in and out.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZQEqq6yf-4
Could anyone help me in figuring out how to create a Command that will be assigned to the buttons 3 and 4 of a trackball or mouse?
Thanks!
Massimo

Re: MIDI controller works in MIDI monitor and not in tracks
Yes, because I can hear the sequence when it's played.
Even if I create a new instrument, for instance Bassline, with a new MIDI track, nothing happens.

MIDI controller works in MIDI monitor and not in tracks
Hi, I received a project file from a colleague, I opened it up and DP recognizes my MIDI controller in the audio monitor which shows activity. All the instruments in the sequence work when I play it, but I can't find a way, when I put the MIDI tracks on record, to play the instruments with my MIDI k...

Import CAF loop doesn't adjust to sequence tempo
Hi there, I'm trying to import an Apple Loop in a CAF format into DP8 and these are my preferences for the automatic conversion: - convert sample rate on import - convert file format on import - convert interleaved format on import - convert to sequence tempo whenever file tempo doesn't match the se...

Apogee USB MiC and CoreDrive issue
Hi everyone, I have connected a USB microphone (Apogee MiC) to my MacBook and I would like to use it as an input, while using as an output the Apogee Duet. The problem is that when I configure the hardware driver, I can't separate the input and the outputs on two different devices. Any suggestions o...
