So you're saying instead of putting the plugin on the V-Rack instance channel, bus it to an Aux channel and put the plugin there. Aux channels can be automated.

MIDI automation should work via V-rack though right? ( I haven't tried )

IS it really not possible to automate a plugin in a v-rack? Any work arounds that people have found or am I missing something? I've got some plugins (kontakt and waves specifically) that I've got sitting in a v-rack and was surprised when I couldn't get automation to work.

I'm trying to import it as a soundbite. If I drag it from the finder into the soundbite window in DP, it shows up as a stereo file not just the one mono file (left or right).

I've got a stereo wave file that came out of pro tools, I deinterleaved the file so now I have file.L.wave and file.R.wav.
