DP 8.06 Is Available

Where/how did you get a 64bit version of the Rocket? I have been waiting ages for the Rocket to be updated...

it's an "evaluation copy" ... downloaded it from their site a while back. Sorry I didn't think to let anyone know....

I've contacted Stillwell Audio about it

Re: Good amp/cab sim for Fende Rhodes?

[quote]I used to love my Stage 73 through a Roland JC120, back when chorus was a must-have for the Rhodes./quote] +1 I had a Stage 88 and the Chorus 120 was a great sound for it. I used it with a Twin for a while, but my nit was the Twin needed to be turned up a bit too much for small rooms to have ...

Re: memory management

ah, that's what I thought might be the case. I'm using the RME FF800 and I really don't have much of a latency issue (and their mix matrix is left in default and I rely on hardwired I/O to the physical I/O's), EXCEPT when recording with some of the UAD plug-ins on the master fader... I can get away ...

Re: memory management

well... I'm a bit confused.... that option is grayed out si it does not seem to be an option

is it because I do not have a MOTU interface?

OTOH- latency really hasn't been an issue

Re: memory management

at 128 the issue seems to be resolved! (and now I have 4 tracks AND reverb!!) :D

and I checked at the IK Multimedia site and they've got CSR working at 64 bits , but you have to use their T-racks plug (which is free)

so,all in all, a very productive day

thanks all for your 'input'

memory management

no... this is not an Alzheimer's question..... Ram = 16 Mac tells me I'm only using 3+ DP Audio Performance shows me almost maxed out ...and it's "quit unexpectedly" a couple of time but only when I'm editing..... not using a lot of plugs, some UA (3) and a few DP.... I'm guessing cache is...

Re: virtual 2nd line drums???

Thanks Shoosie I'll take a look at the Garritan libraries! the drums are what I'm having the hardest time finding. I played Zydeco for a while and the drummers (the good ones) had a really good control/feel for 2nd line which most other drummers I've played with struggle to pull off . It's like a mi...

Re: waveform in sequence not displaying

A while back someone was discussing periodically trashing the analysis folder... good idea or bad idea... ? what I meant was having the automation line(s) show concurrently without switching (as if DP had a "display all" - volume -solid line , pan- dotted line, bite volume dashes, loop hot...
