Re: 828x USB error "configuration descriptor request failed" - but works on another computer
Try connecting through a USB 2 hub. My motherboard's USB 3 controller got confused by the 828x USB 2 device.

Re: CueMix Talkback question
Hey, time to revive a zombie thread! :) I've got a 828x with CueMix 4.0.8.9606. I had a 2408 system previously, so I'm familiar with the talkback using an input channel. I'm okay with that. My question is the same as the question from seven years ago. I've got talk-back / listen-back configured and ...

Re: 828x drivers not working for windows 10
If all your connectors on the computer are USB 3.x, maybe try a USB 2.0 hub. That's the ticket! :D I've got an AMD B550 chipset with USB 3.0 ports. When I put a USB 2.0 hub in the middle, I get consistent and reliable connections between Windows 11 and the 828x via USB. On my system I can get the l...

Re: 828x drivers not working for windows 10
I''m also having problems with my 828x and Windows - windows 11 in my case. USB connection. Right now it's up and connected, but I will turn it off... wait 15 seconds... turn it back on and wait for the USB device connection beep.. check MOTU audio console and no, it's not there. Re: MOTU 828mkII quit working after overnight Windows 10 Upd
I was happy. Now I'm less happy. After a good recording session on Tuesday I started the machine today (Saturday) do run a quick mix and I'm back to square one, with System Thread Exception Not Handled errors in MotuAW.sys when I enable the MOTU PCI Audio device in device manager. I really don't wan...

Re: MOTU 828mkII quit working after overnight Windows 10 Upd
big Hooray! I'm back in business! The card was recognized, and I had to re-enable the device in the device manager. I also had to re-select the output device in Sonar X2. But I've got my 2408 Mk3 back! System : Windows 10 Home Version 1607, build 14393.351 Intel i7 960 @ 3.2 GHz, 18 GB RAM (no CPU f...

Re: MOTU 828mkII quit working after overnight Windows 10 Upd
My windows 10 system has been running reasonably well since January, when i upgraded from win 7. Since I got pushed the 1607 (anniversary) update last week I get a failure during boot. Disabling the motu driver in safe mode allows the system to boot. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers...
