Yes seems strange. No where in the new manual clips chapter does it mention recording your performances.

New MacBook Pros
The new MacBook pros are the highest end yet for a laptop. It has up to 32 GB memory and up to a 4 terabyte SD internal hard drive. The word out there has been not to store your samples on the hard drive where your running DP. But with this new configuration wouldn’t it be just fine to run everythin...

Re: Machfive 4 this year?
New Drug Agreement?
Acronyms. NDA ... Oh, ... Non Disclosure Agreement.
For sure. I wasn't expecting any of them on either side to pipe in.
An imbedded sampler would give DP 10 the added power. Hard to see them starting a complete new sampler though.

Re: Machfive 4 this year?
I have a theory about all this MachFive Falcon stuff. Hope you don't mind me sharing and let me know what you think... There has been no behind the others back development. MOTU has known about UVI's development and plans for Falcon ( and perceived MachFive4 ) and perhaps even shook hands over relea...

V racks and Virtual instruments
A problem I'm having with my VI's in V racks is how to freeze tracks? Am I missing something? To freeze or even bounce a track you have to select the MIDI track and its corresponding v instrument track and if the v instrument is in a v rack I can't see how to select it. The freeze and bounce command...

Re: Changing your mind every 5 seconds
Along with the "Changing your mind every 5 seconds" quote another great quote from article: “One would think that digital is simpler,” Sarnoff says. “But our lives have become far more complicated.” This isn't always true for me but can be when I fall into that endless possibilities trap.

Re: M53 update: v3.2.1
You may have to run CSM ON UVI's Workstation at least for now. I think UVI are forging ahead in development and are not waiting for MOTU to stay with them as who knows what MOTU are investing into the future software wise

Sibelius 7.5 released
Yes, they have released a new version, more evolutionary than revolutionary they say so they are saving the 8 number for a more advanced update. But it's good news. Glad I didn't switch to Finale. Sibelius is a good companion to DP as D.P didn't keep their Mosiac notation program going and developed...
