I wanna buy a new laptop but use my PCIe sound card to interface with 2408 mk3's, anyone have any luck with the thunderbolt 3 to PCIe converters out there?

ios 9.3.5, ipad 3, mac pro El Capitan, dp control is working, except instant dp control crash when hitting the undo button

yeh, i have my startup system disk, have to check the size, can i go larger if i clone it?......a 2t disk for dp projects, another 2t disk for vi's, and another 1.5t for some back stuff, my cloner works with both the mini ssd's and regular sizes

yeh, i forgot i own a nice cloning machine, works great, could you point me to the ssd's i'd need to replace my old drives?
what size etc....

just ot be clear, i really realy realy don't want to install ssd's, i have hundreds of plugins and virtual instruments, i don't want to have to reinstall everything, is that possible with this upgrade?

i upgraded my mac to os 10.11, the furthest my 2009 mac will go, and installed dp 10, had a couple of bugs, twice all audio just went away, not while playing back, but after stopping and rewinding a bit, just had to quit dp and reopen, then all was well, also when using the mas trim plugin, the appl...

use the destructive audio editing in DP, just use a paramtric eq, find/ audition the frequency, notch it right out of existance just for the duration of the feedback, with a very narrow Q, hit process....done

as i said before, i already have fgx, thanx for the tips, i just went with the reverbs because anything else i fall in love with can be bought easily enough

hmmmm, interesting, how do you feel about waves L-3, LL-3, L-3 16?
i prefer the sound of the LL-3 followed by L-3 and not a fan of the L-3 16

i tried fgx on the last rock/reggae/ska project i did, but got better results from ozone for the level they wanted it.
