Re: MOTU 2408 mk2 TDIF analog signal input?
Do you mean that I CAN'T connect the synthesizer analog output to 2408 TDIF with a DB25-TRS cable? It won't work, just silence!? Correct. There are analog to digital converters that support the TASCAM format on the digital side. I don't know any currently being made but a 2408 in stand-alone mode w...

Re: MOTU 2408 mk2 TDIF analog signal input?
TDIF is a digital connection, you can hook up to a digital mixer or a DA-88/38/78 Ok, let me first clear out some confusion. Let me simplify the first part of my question: Do you mean that I CAN'T connect the synthesizer analog output to 2408 TDIF with a DB25-TRS cable? It won't work, just silence!...

Re: MOTU 2408 mk2 TDIF analog signal input?
Hello, I couldn't find any info in the manual about this. May I use the DB25-TRS cable to direct connect analog gear outputs signal to MOTU 2408 mk2 Tascam TDIF inputs? Or do the signal need to be digital converted first!? Please let me know. Cheers. As far as I know DB25-TRS is an analog connectio...

Re: List of BPM Bugs
maybe its developer will response as it is impossible to get in touch with them otherwise. The developers of BPM and MOTU, who badge and sell BPM, have nothing to do with this site, and it is unlikely that they will come here looking for bugs. You say that the developers are impossible to communica...

Re: Controlling BPM with Novation based Automap controller?
Thanks for answering. Well that is very sad, as it is known movement in the industry to allow 'intelligent' MIDI control of software. Motu chose to go in opposite way...

Controlling BPM with Novation based Automap controller?
Hello,
Simply, Automap will not find it at all. Instead it needs to be set as external hardware(!).
Any idea if it can be done so that Automap recognized it as a Virtual Instrument in DAW?
Cheers.

Killer high ASIO load in Cubase 6! Please read
Hello, I bought a BPM 1.5 recently with intention to use it as my beat work station. However, using it in my new and audio optimized i7 3.07GHz PC with 6GB RAM under decent low ASIO settings gives problems. Simply, BPM gives very high ASIO load and click & pops in Cubase 6. This issue is only ha...
