Sorry no. And, even if it were, I have dozens of 3rd party VI's and FX that would also need to be ported. Personally, I don't see using a MacIntel box for the next 2 or 3 years.

I see billf already responded, but not before I'd already written this and clicked "Preview" so just to confirm what he said... What app are you using currently on your mac? DP can import the standard sorts of audio file formats, so if your current app can export into, say, WAV or AIF, the...

Man, Blow by Blow is one of my absolute favorites. And, uh, I play though a Boogie! Doh! Hey, I think this person should be suing your parents James. Actually, s/he should file a class action suit against all James Steeles on behalf of all James Steeles. Judge: Could the plaintiff speak his name for...

Sadly, James, you are spot on. From Wikipedia : The first two years of the company's existence coincided with a sharp decline in personal relations within the Beatles, ultimately leading to the break-up of the band in 1970. Apple quickly slid into financial chaos, which was only resolved after many ...

Hi Kraig. I'm pretty sure the mapping between tracks and Audio Monitor #'s is dynamically derived by DP. There's no way to change this, AFAIK.

Is nothing sacred? Does blatant plagiarism mean nothing any more? I hope those scoundrels around at Kurzweil are ready for the intellectual copyright lawsuits the good folk from Zurtzweil will undoubtedly slap on them the moment they discover that their flagship instrument has been brazenly pirated...

I'm in agreement with everyone above. Get a dual 2.x G5 and you'll have a very nice box for the next few years. Then, sometime in 2008, buy a MacIntel. I've had zero issues (except stuck MIDI notes) with the dual 2.7. It's a bonus that you'll spend considerably less cash on this today than I did a y...

Hmmm. Hope it's okay to put these here for easier visual comparison... M5-2 M5-1 Frodo, this is indeed puzzling. Both images have the same presets on the left and the same waveform in the waveform editor. This leads me to believe that the version 2 image is synthesized (yeah, pun intended). Right-c...

Or, you can just drag the Insert (or multiple Inserts) to the Desktop, or to a folder. That way, they are not specific to any given project and can easily be used in other projects.

Having both Mach5 and Kontakt, I tend to use Kontakt more often because the library covers more ground. I've tried, with varying success, to import other sample formats into Mach5 and find it cumbersome/flakey. And, as others have implied, there's no forward momentum with this product. I'll give it ...
