As Hugy already pointed out, the ADSR envelope is the solution. Just set the release to 0 and pad playback will function as you desire. thanks I do use the ADSR/AHD to get the sound I like but I was hoping BPM can play the sample as long as the MIDI notes length in my DAW - logic.
