Re: Motu MIDI Express 128 - hanging notes Logic Pro X and DP
Cool, Scott - please let us know if that works. MOTU says that Yosemite might address the problem, but if this works that would be great...pretty painful working over here.

USB 3 and MIDI - not working
Hello - I have a problem with MIDI through my new iMac & USB 3 through either my MTPAV or MIDI Express. Stuck notes and rogue notes. MOTU says that it's a known issue and they are working on resolving. I have been in contact with high-level Apple folks and after trying the usual USB 2 hub (power...

Re: Vocal Rider slowing down your Mac? Make it vanish! :-)
I don't have that problem with Vocal Rider (which I like too) - after I record automation and press 'play' it reads it, but after a while when my mix sounds different, it arbitrarily has forgotten to read it and the fader is stationary. I suppose I could freeze or re-print the vocal, but still...

Re: DP Pitch Correction
Not that I know of. That would be nice. You can quantize pitch for regions or the entire file, and that will snap all notes to their nearest pitch. That will most likely require lots of deleting what you did to make it sound natural, though.

Re: DP8 Welcome Window
I did a search and didn't find 'welcome window' in any posts... :? See http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=54195 The title of the thread is rather cryptically called Welcome Window - Why? Ah, thanks - - your post, in gripes, etc. - I must be challenged in the 'search' dept - I i...

Re: DP8 Welcome Window
Hundreds? In a working day there are 480 minutes. So, even if you reach the bare minimum to be able to say "hundreds," (let's say, for the sake of the easy math, 240 files), then you are opening, acting on and closing a MIDI file once every 2 minutes, without a break, for 8 hours... Sorry...

Re: DP8 Welcome Window
The only thing for me is, I sometimes have to open and work with hundreds of different MIDI files in a day and it really gets in the way. I did a search and didn't find 'welcome window' in any posts...

Re: UAD Apollo
Thanks for this thread! Yesterday morning I was just talking with a buddy about my 2408 and how I think it may be on it's last legs ... Apollo is exactly what I need. It gives me all the inputs and outputs of the 2408 MkIII and so much more. And it gets me into UAD, and UA preamps, all in one go. T...

Re: Bite Volume with Fade: bug?
I know this post was started 7 years ago, but I've got another issue with DP 8 where I am trying to scale the Bite Volume, (or change it at all) with the 'change' command and it doesn't change it. I can change audio volume, etc. and cc's like 7, 11, etc, but no Bite Volume - just stays unchanged. An...

Re: 32 bit plug in bridge for DP 8
I just installed DP8 today and it isn't recognizing my UAD2 card. I thought the new cards were 64 bit. Hmmm.... do I need to run DP 8 in 32 bit mode?

Re: DP 7.24 Sluggishness - new video
I am running DP8 under Mac OSX 10.8.2, with dual monitors, and I'm not seeing anything like that kind of behavior. My installation seems to run just like DP7 did. I'd seen a fair amount of complaint about this sluggishness but had no idea what it really looked like. That does seem pretty heinous......

Re: DP 7.24 Sluggishness - new video
Yes, that doesn’t look abnormal from what I experience. I’m hoping it changes at some point. Thanks for the reply. I am taking my Mac into an Apple Store tomorrow - I'm wondering if it is something with the computer. Other music apps seem to fly compared to DP but I still like it the best. I rememb...
