Re: DP 10: one thing after the other

Final (I hope) update on this from me. I removed the MAS folder and the two preferences folders that Brendan recommended and reinstalled DP10. Everything worked fine. I went through my previous MAS folder and compared it to the one that had just been installed and saw that there were some slightly ...

Re: Home Mastering

I generally do all my own mastering these days if it is for CD or digital distribution. As a rule, using a combination of Izotope, FF and DP plugs. DSP Quattro handles the metadata and creation of DDP files very simply and intuitively. I agree with Mike re the Izotope tutorial - it's a very solid in...

Re: Keyboard to Dp 9 transpose "problem" ?

Definitely sounds like your controller may be transmitting on multiple ports/channels.
Have you tried using MultiRecord in DP and selecting only one channel as input?

Re: Keyboard to Dp 9 transpose "problem" ?

If I understand you correctly, it sounds to me like you need to use DP's Transpose MIDI plugin with DP's MIDI Patch Thru set to on and your KORG set to transmit MIDI only (local off). Manual page 578.

https://www.eareckon.com/en/products/ea ... lugin.html is very cool too. The built in chorus also sounds great on it's own.

Re: The Robb Report January '18

Every time I select a VI and its MIDI track, and hit “Freeze Tracks”, I should get a dialog, asking me if I want to target the last Freeze track (if applicable), or make a new track, and whether I want it in the current folder or some other folder, or a new folder. Defaults should be “Use Last Trac...

Re: Split at Counter question

This is how I would do it: In the Tracks overview window, hit CMD-A to Select All This also automatically sets the selection start point to the start of your sequence and the selection end point to the end of the sequence. Manually enter your insertion start point of 102|2|238 into the selection sta...

Re: How to decouple regions?

Select your copied soundbite then choose "Duplicate Soundbite" from the Audio Menu. This creates a completely new additional soundbite within the same audio file, such that any future pitch/fade/edge edits will only affect this 'duplicated' soundbite, leaving the original 'source' soundbit...

Re: Import track setup from another project

I have a clipping which I use for this. The clipping consists of all my Superior tracks (empty MIDI tracks, the VI itself and aux returns). Works like a charm. Make a clipping of your custom Superior tracks from your old song project (including plugins but no MIDI note data). Then just drag the clip...

Re: Time stretching audio

Not near my computers at the moment, but I'm pretty sure you can do this by creating a group comprising all your drum tracks. Make sure that 'edge edit' is enabled in the group's settings. Then when you edge edit (or stretch) any track within your drum group, all tracks in the group should be affect...
