Re: DP OS error disk is full (-34)
I can also confirm the "OS error: Disk is full (-34)" problem still exists in Digital Performer 11.22

Re: DP OS error disk is full (-34)
In the meantime, I've gone back and forth with MOTU and so far, I think this is a legit bug. In the meantime, I was given this workaround and maybe it'll help others. - Close the project - Put the file in the Audio Files folder of the project (drag and drop) - Open the project - Go to Project menu ...

Re: DP OS error disk is full (-34)
I just took these steps as well: - Used QuickTime to duplicate the file and did a save-as as a .wav file: same (-34) error. - Used https://www.zynaptiq.com/myriad/ to covert from .wav to .wav: same error - Used QuickTime to trim the file down from 4.16 gig to the following: 3.57gig -- same error 2.9...

Re: DP OS error disk is full (-34)
You can do this in Quicktime — convert .wav to .wav or to .aif and back to .wav. .... Please post screenshots of Quicktime converting audio as you described, including version of Mac OS and version of Quicktime you're using -- I ask because what you're describing apparently isn't an option in Quick...

Re: DP OS error disk is full (-34)
OWC RAID 5tb available That's your problem but without knowing more about that, I don't want to fill half a page of possibilities. Oh, I'm fairly certain I know but I need you to confirm a few things in case I'm wrong. How is it connected? RAID what? Are the drives SATA III SSDs, NVMe blades, HDDs?...

Re: Scrolling & Mousewheel sensitivity
Scrolling works well for me using the Magic Trackpad. Rolling the ends of the two fingers used for scrolling moves the little send knobs by 0.1 dB. I wish there was a way to change the scroll direction, though. **Leigh All the other software I use allows for inverting the scroll direction. I came b...

Re: DP OS error disk is full (-34)
Here’s a list of MacOS errors. If you put that project on your System drive, you’ll find that it loads ok.Since the procedure you describe is a standard way of loading projects, the odds that -34 is a MOTU bug = 0. Time to check that drive. I'm being bitten by this same problem. Intel MacBook Pro 2...

Metric Halo ULN-2 and 2882 2D +DSP
2882 is an amazingly versatile box and the ULN2 is sounds really nice.

Re: DP7 review in SOS
I have a fractal audio axe-fx for guitar stuff. I don't need it in a DAW. It's expensive, but so is collecting lots of synth/key/percussion based software. Economically I'd like good on-board VI's, but not at the expense of product innovation/evolution. I prefer DAW manufacturers focus on the DAW en...

Re: How would you setup drives/partitions? Need advice!
So if I have a on terabyte drive: One 250GB partition to make block copy clone of my boot drive One 250GB partition for backup of internal audio drive. I'm late to the game, and you've probably figured it all out, but here's a few insight from my limited experience. To save space on the 1TB, I sugg...

Re: CHUNKS???
I use chunks for live performance. After doing all sequencing, recording, and mastering to two-track, I create sequences for each song in chunks. Into each sequence I drag the mastered song into that sequence, put in MIDI automation for a rack guitar modeler/fx unit and a vocal fx unit, and set star...

Re: Tips on most economical FW external sample library drive?
This isn't what you asked for because it certainly isn't the most economical, but it's been fantastic in my PPC G5. At the time it was the least expensive of the internal SATA expansion products. http://www.maxupgrades.com/img/G5PCIPage4DAl.gif From this page http://www.maxupgrades.com/istore/index....

Re: Tips on most economical FW external sample library drive?
I second the CCC, I take two cloned laptops to gigs, and it makes it easy. It also does incremental syncing at the system level. I've had good success with this one for incremental sync and backup. http://www.qdea.com/synchronize_pro_x_intro.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fal...

That's exactly what I needed to know. 4.61 upgrade (for laptop gigs) arrived last week along with 7.x for home production.

Re: Controlling lights using DP
You can cram a large light show into a DMX box/brain that's pretty small. It's called the lanbox and I use it in this video http://www.youtube.com/user/ericlanevideos#p/u/1/vjtIqKTmSTI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I'm cuing with a MIDI footswitch at that corporate party. ...
