Re:

As I update MOTU's MIDI drivers, I feel this issue is being left ever-further behind. Touch wood. So far so good. Don't worry, the apprehension will go away. Until it occurrs again! hello 2007, this is 2013. im sad to say that in the 6 years that passed, motu never got round to fixing this. i guess...

Is MIDI out ever going to arrive.

Hello lonely bpm users. Does anyone have any inside knowledge, or intuitive feeling in their bones, as to whether our beloved BPM is ever going to have MIDI out functionality? It's my favorite drum sampler, ever. The sequencer is just drum grid heaven. But I am on the cusp of abandoning it, for lack...

Re: MIDI Express 128 + OSX Mountain Lion, Hanging notes

*edit - after troubleshooting, in my case the hanging note problem came from the Express XT sharing any hub with an RME Babyface audio interface. It would work fine until made to share a hub with the Babyface. But this wasn't a problem pre-Mountain Lion. However after updating the Babyface driver (v...

Re: MIDI Express 128 + OSX Mountain Lion, Hanging notes

Same problem here, same cause found. Disconnected old edition MIDI express from the USB hub (sitecom 7-port), plugged it direct into my MBP (2010 15") and the hanging note problem disappeared. Definitely a USB hub-OSX10.8 compatibility problem. edit: there is talk on apple forums about 10.8.2 u...

Re: How do you access BANK B from your MIDI controller?

Amazing seeing the development of your controller in the midibox thread, big up

I would be interested in buying a kit off you if you ever get to that stage. But first of all, I need to find what the •••• is going on with BPM within Ableton re multiple MIDI chans.

Re: How do you access BANK B from your MIDI controller?

dude I know, the controller looks fantastic. But ignoring the fact that I don't have your controller.. would that work while BPM is in ableton as a VST/AU? And it wouldn't fix the problem that MIDI patterns recorded within Live (rather than within BPM) would not be able to be go to any other bank ex...

Re: How do you access BANK B from your MIDI controller?

This has never worked in Ableton for me. All MIDI channels go straight into bank A no matter what I try, AU & VST.

In Logic there's no problem.

But don't use Logic any more. So I only get one bank, 16 pads in my favorite DAW ;_;

Any other Ableton users getting MIDI access to the other banks?
