Equirectangular (aka 360) Video

I've been doing a fair amount of audio post on Equirectangular aka 360 video and it would be great to be able to import/view it in DP, especially if keyframing has been added. What is the process for making feature requests to MOTU these days? Up untilrecently, I would have started this discussion o...

Re: DP Control for iOS: What MacOS/iOS/DP combo still works?

I have the latest iOS 9.3.5 and DP 9.12, but OS X 10.8.5(Mountain Lion) on the Mac and DP Control is working fine for me. Sorry James! :-/

Re: Melodyne 4 problems in DP 9.1{SOLVED}

Having a crashing issue with multiple instances of Melodyne 4 running within DP 9.1... got a ticket into Celemony. If I disable all except one instantiated track things work. Jumping around to different places in the sequence will bring it down every time with more than one instantiated track. Diggi...

Re: DP 9.1 is here

Can you watch the audio performance meter? There are reports of playback performance overloading the processor in 9.1. One member said MOTU tech told him to use 9.02. I'm also seeing a lot of spikes and getting pops and clicks on my bounces. Same project in 9.02 works great. Also, there are some VS...

Re: DP 9.1 is here

I dove into 9.1 yesterday. Right now playing back a large mix originally done in 8 containing a mix of plugs from various companies. Working fine, transport keys good. Will dig in more this weekend. BTW there is an update for Slate VMR to version 1.6.3, saw mention of a VMR issue on the MOTU-Mac list.

Re: Importing audio for post from FCP X

I just revisited this topic, having to move some audio out of FCPX for editing since that functionality within FCPX is shall I say, lacking. :mrgreen: I used the LE version of X2Pro for the XML -> AAF conversion, which at the time of this writing just got updated to version 2.3 which supports FCP XM...

Re: Merry Christmas, Baby Jesus

I guess by buying it. Bye buy. Whatever. :roll: I posted to get some comments about how the song sounds(as per James' reply), not to get slagged. Being that the song is 2:56 in length, you're actually getting a pretty decent preview of it. And as for the content, I am simply the conduit through whi...

The Spring Standards

Video of a session I did with The Spring Standards, a band who has a unique way of handling drums(though I didn't record drums on this session). The drumkit is spread out between the three members of the band. Recorded to DP5.13 on my old tweaked retired Quicksilver G4 via the insert outs of the now...

Hope so!

Just put a req in for a 2.93 8-core at work, but hope to make the cutover like I did back in the day with the old Gigabit Ethernet Dual 500 G4... originally ordered the G4/500 and got the dual when the 500 single processor was discontinued... :D
