BPM section cleanup.

Once again I have started trimming the fat from this section of the forum. If the posts are of no technical, or useful merit then they are removed as per the last BPM section cleanup. Threads older than one month and with zero replies are removed. Threads that have been answered in other threads tha...

However I can now spend more time in here checking through things and answering questions etc. As for what I have been doing, well i have been working on...

Re: BPM 1.5 crashes in clip window

The wait relates to the fact that U.V.I are not a massive software house with a plethora of software engineers, everything is scheduled and takes its turn in the queue. I seem to be repeating things that I have made people aware of in past posts, when a simple search would have revealed these answer...

Re: More patterns / kits?

sorry but there will be no hosting of non licensed audio files or libraries here in the bpm section i am afraid. even your own sounds are if taken from a sampled source still subject to the original artist and label copyright. Its a touchy subject that is best left alone. If you want more library so...

Re: BPM 1.5 crashes in clip window

actually the comparison is sound, it relates to a single failure or fault being able to lose functionality of the whole. Also not being able to overcome and and adapt something to your needs the user would rather admit failure. as i stated, if a client came into my studio and specifically asked me f...

Re: bpm hardware (update)

Still here. update: well im still working on the unit and still streamlining it down into a more compact unit. I have since found some nice display units that if i build a self enclosed bpm that can using a certain bit of software just display the waveform /display section of the bpm software, this ...

Re: BPM 1.5 crashes in clip window

with all due respect guys, nothing happens overnight. I for one am sick and tired of having to repeat myself everytime the same things get brought up in here. if any of you had any idea about the amount of lines of code that have to be changed, not only once but several times while testing a new upd...

Re: Have I made a mistake buying BPM 1.5?

No matter what forum for whatever music tech you go into there are always the few that are never happy with a product. And is always the case even when the fixes for bugs they complained about are released they never admit to being satisfied simply because they then have to find something else to mo...

Re: 'ranting' forum sub-title deletion suggestion

I spent just over a week clearing out some of the mosy unproductive, immature, foul languaged post's i have seen on a forum a while ago. And even now i still have to clean out posts or edit content simply becuase people do not think before they post up. This forum is not related to motu in any way, ...

Re: installation issues... doesn't see iLok software...

the ilok in the bpm box is already carrying the license, you do not need to download it. make sure your ilok is in a usb port, and not on a hub port, this could be an issue on some poorly made and cheap usb hubs. once you have the ilok in a main port start bpm, if it comes up that it needs to author...
